Snow at Wimbledon

Heavy snow fell at Wimbledon on 6 January 2010. Here are some photographs taken around the grounds at the All England Club.

    It’s interesting to see the tennis courts at the All England Club covered in snow since I’ve only ever seen it during summer.

    wow. it’s always so warm when they play wimbledon, you never think about it snowing there. if they played in weather like this all the players would need Bjorn Borg style beards to keep warm. Including the women.

    I was there last saterday for a vist and took the meusiom tour. Very nice places welldone.

    They play slams on hardcourt, grass, and silly clay. Why not play a major on ice?

    When will the new No. 3 court be ready for play? For the 2010 or 2011 Championships?
